CASS COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says Correctional Deputy Andrew Robinson was placed on administrative leave following an alleged assault on an inmate Thursday evening in the Cass County Jail.
Sheriff Jesse Jahner has asked the North Dakota BCI to investigate the inmate’s allegations to ensure an unbiased third-party investigation.
Once the BCI has completed its investigation, the Sheriff’s Office will investigate the incident internally.
The Sheriff’s Office can’t provide any further investigation as the investigation is ongoing.
