FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – A man held on intoxication management at the Cass County Jail was found around a half hour after getting out of the holding area on Friday, October 16.
The Sheriff’s Office says Fargo Police officers found the man near the jail and he was returned.
The holding cell has a door to the booking area and another to the drive-in area where people are taken into the jail.
The Sheriff’s Office says the door to the drive in area was closed but not secured and the door didn’t trigger an alarm.
The holding cell has been taken out of service pending a maintenance assessment.
