Heavy rains and severe thunderstorm warnings caused play to be canceled on Monday evening at the National Bank Open in Montreal.
Monday’s quarterfinal matches between 19th-seeded Italian Luciano Darderi vs. No. 28 Brandon Nakashima and No. 20 Rafael Jodar of Spain vs. No. 18 Arthur Fils of France are now slated to be played Tuesday beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET.
Tuesday’s quarterfinals featuring 13th-seeded Czech Jakub Mensik vs. fifth-seeded Ben Shelton and No. 12 Learner Tien vs. Spain’s Daniel Merida will remain on schedule, with first serve taking place just after 6 p.m.
The semifinals will be played on Wednesday and the finals on Thursday at the ATP Masters 1000 event.
