CAMBRIDGE, Minn. (KFGO) – Authorities in Isanti County are investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash near North Branch.
Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV and semi collided Monday night on Highway 95. The SUV was going west and veered into the eastbound lanes, hitting the semi head-on.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the SUV became fully engulfed upon impact and the SUV driver died at the scene. No other injuries are reported.
The semi driver is a 53-year-old man from Pine River, Minnesota.
The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identity of the victim once family can be notified.
