JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFGO) – Two Jamestown Police officers and a Stutsman County Sheriff’s Deputy were injured while responding to a domestic violence report on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
A woman called 911 around 8 p.m. saying a man was trying to physically harm her. Dispatchers say the woman was frantic and screaming for help when the call became disconnected.
Jamestown Police and a Stutsman County Sheriff’s Deputy arrived on scene and the woman ran out of the house toward officers. She told law enforcement that a man tried to smother her with a pillowcase.
Police say a man came out of the house, was extremely agitated, belligerent and refused to comply with officers. He tried to run back into the house and ended up fighting with officers.
Jamestown Police say one officer was hit in the face, one injured his knee and a sheriff’s deputy was hit in the head by the suspect.
Dylan Biloff, 38 of Jamestown, was arrested on suspicion of 3 felony counts of assaulting a peace officer, preventing arrest and disorderly conduct. He is being held at the Stutsman County Jail where he awaits formal charges.
The 3 law enforcement officers were treated at Jamestown Regional Medical Center and later released.
