BRECKENRIDGE, Minn. (KFGO) – The Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of Breckenridge of coyote sightings and aggressive behavior toward people and pets, especially near Bois de Sioux Golf Course.
Sheriff Tony Harris says you should avoid approaching or attempting to interact with them. Harris says the Department of Natural Resources is working with local landowners to address the incidents and ensure public safety.
Unusual or aggressive behavior should be reported to the sheriff’s office, Breckenridge police or the DNR.
