Wiley Tschida (Otter Tail County Correctional Facility)
FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KFGO KBRF) – A Perham man accused in 45 burglaries in Otter Tail County has been sentenced to three years in prison.
Wiley Tschida, 32, pleaded guilty to one count of burglary and 14 other counts were dropped as part of a plea agreement.
Sheriff’s deputies were able to link Tschida to thefts from vehicles and garages where wallets, purses, guns and tools were stolen. They found a pair of shoes in his home with the same tread pattern as marks found at some of the crime scenes. 11 guns were also recovered during a search of his home.
Tschida will serve the sentence at the state prison in St. Cloud.
