Arrest made in Bismarck shooting, victim was giving out pizza when he was shot

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – Bismarck Police have arrested a man in a shooting near a homeless shelter.

Police say at about 11 Tuesday night, they received reports of a shooting near a church.

Police found a 45-year-old homeless man who was shot in the neck and shoulder. The victim is in a Bismarck hospital, in stable condition. He had been handing out pizza near the shelter when he was shot.

Police arrested 20-year-old Jamall Buckhalter for attempted murder late Wednesday morning.
