CASSELTON, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is looking for a farmer that dropped a load of sugar beets on a road near the ethanol plant by Casselton late Wednesday night.
The Highway Patrol posted a photo showing Cass County Road 10 near a set of railroad tracks covered in sugar beets. Troopers say a nearby farmer stepped in to help clear off the road with a tractor and it was back open to traffic in about five minutes.
Troopers are asking anyone with information about who might have dropped the sugar beets on the road to contact them.
