UPDATE – The North Dakota Highway Patrol say 49-year-old Ian Frye died in a crash south of Fargo.
Charges are under investigation against 19-year-old Cornelio Vasquez IV of Grand Forks who authorities say was driving when it t-boned Frye’s vehicle.
CASS COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – A 49-year-old Christine, North Dakota man is dead after a crash in cass county.
Around 12:15 AM on Sunday, August 23, a trooper tried to stop a BMW for going 109 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone.
The Highway Patrol says the car went on County Road 14, turned off its headlights and went through a stop sign on County Road 81 where it struck a vehicle. The driver of that vehicle died.
The driver of the BMW, a 19-year-old Grand Forks man, and two passengers, were taken to the hospital.
Authorities say everyone involved in the crash was wearing seat belts.
