CHAFFEE, N.D. (KFGO) — The family of a boy who was attacked by two dogs near Chaffee in Cass County says he’s recovering well and in good spirits.
9-year-old Jackson Hahn was playing in their yard December 30 with his brother when the dogs got into the yard and mauled him. Jackson had substantial injuries to his face and arms, and was bitten elsewhere. His younger brother was not hurt. Jackson is still in the hospital recovering from surgery.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office impounded the two rottweilers.
A GoFundMe for the family has raised nearly $25,000.
