WOLVERTON, Minn. (KFGO) — One man is dead after a shooting near Wolverton, Minnesota Thursday.
The Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office says it was called to the 1700 Block of Highway 75 around 12:45 a.m. New Year’s morning for a man who had been shot.
First responders found a man with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A suspect was arrested and was brought to the Wilkin County Detention Center. The Sheriff’s Office says the suspect and victim knew each other.
26-year-old Myron Johanson is the only person in the Wilkin County jail for murder. He was booked Thursday morning. The Sheriff’s Office has not said if he is the suspect in this case.
The Minnesota BCA is investigating.
