Several cabins on Otter Tail Lake destroyed in overnight fire

OTTER TAIL LAKE, Minn. (KFGO) — Multiple cabins were destroyed in a large fire early Saturday morning. Crews responded to the 28000 block of Augustana Trail in Amor township just before 3 a.m. That’s on the northwest side of Otter Tail Lake, north of Battle Lake.

The three cabins were unoccupied, and no injuries were reported. The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office says all three structures appear to be total losses.

Fire crews from Battle Lake, Ottertail, Underwood, Fergus Falls, Perham, and the State Fire Marshal’s Office assisted the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office in responding to the incident.
