MADISON, Minn. (KFGO/KWAT)–A hunter who became separated from their group was found following a multi-agency search over the weekend.
The Lac qui Parle County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of the missing hunter in a wildlife management area near Marsh Lake around 6:30 Saturday night.
The caller said a member of their hunting party had not returned to a vehicle with the rest of the group.
He was found about an hour and 15 minutes after the search began, and was not hurt.
Multiple agencies, including sheriff’s departments from Swift, Big Stone, Chippewa and Lac qui Parle counties, the Minnesota DNR, State Patrol and fire departments from Bellingham, Madison and Appleton helped find the missing individual.
