DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (KFGO) – An inmate who escaped from the Missouri River Correctional Center in Bismarck over the weekend has been taken into custody.
The State Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation says 38-year-old Roman Poitra walked away from the minimum security facility Saturday morning and was believed to be heading for Devils Lake. He was found at a home in Devils Lake Thursday night.
Poitra has been serving time for possession of certain prohibited materials and failure to register. He is in custody at the lake region correctional center in devils lake.
