PELICAN RAPIDS, Minn. (KFGO) – Otter Tail County Sheriff’s deputies and other first responders rushed to the southeast side of Star Lake east of Pelican Rapids after a resident reported what he thought was an airplane going into the lake shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Perham Ambulance and fire departments from Perham, Vergas and Dent responded along with the DNR and a Life Link medical helicopter.
An extensive search was conducted, but there was no sign that a plane had gone into the lake.
