AMES, Iowa (KFGO) – The president of North Dakota State University has been named a finalist in the search for the next Iowa State University president.
The Iowa Board of Regents announced Dr. David Cook as the second finalist.
Cook will visit campus on Thursday, Nov. 6, to meet with faculty, staff, students and community members. He will participate in a public forum from 4 to 5 p.m.
A live stream of the public forum will be available on the Board’s website.
Cook is one of two finalists participating in a final round of interviews at Iowa State. Following the campus visits, the Board of Regents will meet in closed session on Nov. 11 to hear from the search committee co-chairs, interview the finalist candidates, and select a new president.
Cook became the 15th president of NDSU in May 2022.
