Scott Adelman (Otter Tail County Jail)
FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (KFGO KBRF) – A Horace, North Dakota man has been sentenced for stealing a skid steer loader from Carr’s Tree Service based in Ottertail, Minnesota.
Scott Adelman, 53, pleaded guilty as part of an agreement with the Otter Tail County Attorney’s Office.
The company reported the theft last September. The skid steer was valued at $85,000. The loader was recovered about a mile from Adelman’s home in Horace. He was given 90 days in the Otter Tail County Jail and fined $10,000.
As part of the agreement, charges of theft and receiving stolen property in Otter tail, Clay County and Cass County were dismissed.
