DETROIT (Reuters) -General Motors said on Tuesday it is expanding production of its gas-powered SUVs and trucks, and will move its Cadillac Escalade to a Michigan assembly plant, while adding new capacity for Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light duty pickups at the same facility.
The Escalade is currently being produced in Arlington, Texas, alongside other large SUVs such as the GMC Yukon, Chevrolet Suburban and Chevy Tahoe.
