FARGO (KFGO) – It’s been two years since Jonett Wanner of West Fargo disappeared.
On July 11, 2023, she was last heard from when she signed off her work computer at home around 2:30 pm. Wanner reportedly left home with her dog in her SUV, a gray 2017 Nissan Rogue with North Dakota license plates 261 AZY. She hasn’t been seen since.
The West Fargo Police Department Investigation Division has since followed up on numerous tips from across North Dakota, Minnesota, Arizona, Washington, Nebraska, and Oregon, but there have been no confirmed sightings or any trace of her vehicle
West Fargo Police Captain Cody Beilke says this is something that plays heavily on their investigations division because detectives have been working this case. Beilke says they have even employed what he says is “some pretty significant and useful technology in the case,” but he doesn’t want to get into further details. He says the investigators will not stop until they “figure out what happened.”
The West Fargo Police Department is asking area landowners and farmers to check land, farmland, wooded areas, abandoned buildings, sheds, and remote properties for any signs of Wanner or her vehicle.
Anyone with information regarding Wanner’s whereabouts, or any information that can be used to locate her, should contact the West Fargo Police Department at (701)-515-5500. Anonymous tips can be submitted 24/7 by texting the keyword WFPD or tip to 847411 (tip411). Anonymous tips can also be submitted via the department’s website.
