FARGO (KFGO) – The Fargo Fire Department says a female was rescued from the Red River Sunday afternoon.
Capt. Ben Willey says around 3:20 p.m., someone called to report a person was in the river and needed help.
Fargo and Moorhead Police and Fire crews responded and used Moorhead Fire’s boat to bring the female to shore on the Fargo side. Willey says the woman was alert when Sanford Ambulance took her to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other information has been released.
