Shelby Whitt
FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man who fled police and caused a large search in south Fargo has been arrested.
Fargo Police arrested 27-year-old Shelby Whitt after a hit-and-run crash. Whitt and a woman, 33-year-old Miranda Risberg, fled the scene on foot and were arrested a short time later.
Whitt was wanted for allegedly hitting two people with his vehicle and then leaving the scene June 10. Fargo Police searched a large area of south Fargo, but were unable to locate Whitt.
Whitt has a long criminal history, including dozens of burglary and drug possession convictions.
