MINNEAPOLIS (KFGO) – Minneapolis Police are investigating a shooting Sunday night that left one woman dead and six other people injured.

Chief Brian O’Hara says two women and three men were taken to hospitals by ambulance. One of the women died at Hennepin Healthcare. One of the men has life-threatening injuries. Two other men arrived at separate hospitals on their own.
O’Hara says investigators are working to learn more about the shooting that happened during a large gathering at the park.
“My thoughts are with all those who are affected by this outrageous act of violence,” O’Hara says. “The level of violence displayed in this shooting is absolutely sickening, and our investigators will work diligently to bring whoever is responsible to justice. We ask anyone who may know what happened to please provide any information they may have.”
