LAREDO, Texas (KFGO) – A man facing rape charges in Minnesota is in a south Texas jail after U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers took him into custody over the weekend.
Nestor Carrillo, 50, was traveling into Mexico by bus when officers in Laredo selected him for a secondary screening. The officers verified Carrillo’s identity and learned he is in the U.S. legally, but has an outstanding felony warrant after failing to appear in court in St. Cloud.
Carrillo is in the Webb County jail waiting for a court appearance.
