FARGO (KFGO) – North Dakota state troopers had little trouble issuing citations during a two-hour traffic violation crackdown on I-94 in Fargo on Friday.
Sergeant Kristjan Helgoe says they were working the interstate as traffic traveled west from Red River Bridge construction.
Helgoe says the stops were made where the speed limit was 40-miles-an-hour.
Troopers made 31 stops and wrote 18 construction zone speeding citations. There were two citations for driving under suspension, one ticket for having no liability insurance and a citation for no driver’s license. Helgoe says two drivers were cited for window tint violations and there were 17 warnings.
Troopers were posted along the interstate between 11 a.m. and about 1 p.m.
