GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A Warroad, Minnesota man was arrested after failing to stop and then leading police on a chase in Grand Forks Thursday around 8:30 p.m.
An officer observed a pickup violating traffic laws and attempted to stop the truck. The driver wouldn’t pull over.
As the vehicle approached the intersection of Demers Avenue and S. 20th Street, officers were able to use their patrol vehicles to block it in. A high-risk traffic stop was conducted and the driver was taken into custody without incident.
Kelly Cleven, 28, was arrested and charged with fleeing in a motor vehicle and preventing arrest.
There were no injuries.
