FARGO (KFGO) – Eight people who are believed to be in the U.S. illegally have been arrested in Fargo.
A spokesman for the Chicago field office of Customs and Border Protection says Border Patrol agents from the Grand Forks sector along with Immigration and Customs Enforcement made the arrests during a traffic stop, described as a targeted operation. He says those arrested are considered a public safety risk.
They were processed and transferred to Enforcement and Removal Operations for further action. The spokesman says he doesn’t know where those taken into custody were employed.
