OWATONNA, Minn. (KFGO) – A Minnesota Court of Appeals Judge has been sentenced after pleading guilty to Driving while Intoxicated in Steele County.
Judge Renee Worke will serve one year of supervised probation, complete community service, undergo a chemical dependency evaluation, and pay a fine.
The sentence follows a late November incident in Owatonna, Minnesota where Worke’s vehicle was found stuck in a snowbank. She told deputies she was returning from visiting friends in Waseca and said she drank one glass of wine about two hours earlier. Authorities say Worke’s blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit.
