PAYNESVILLE, Minn. (KFGO/Learfield) – A Paynesville man is hospitalized with serious injuries after a farm accident Sunday night.
Stearns County sheriff’s deputies say 30-year-old Jerrod Quade was showing a neighbor how to start the tractor. He was standing in front of the back right tire, and when the tractor started, it was still in gear and rolled forward, dragging Quade to the ground and driving over him.
Quade was taken to the Paynesville Hospital and later airlifted to Hennepin Healthcare with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
