GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – The Grand Forks Fire Department quickly put out a fire at a hotel overnight.
Firefighters responded to the Ramada Inn at 1205 N. 43rd Street around 4:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2. Crews arrived to find light smoke in the building.
The source of the smoke was found to be insulation and building materials smoldering in the roof. Crews quickly extinguished all fire and smoldering materials.
Grand Forks Fire Department was assisted on scene by the Grand Forks Police Department and Altru Ambulance.
No one staying at the hotel was displaced.
