Jose Pineda, Jr./Cass County Detention Center
CASS LAKE, Minn. (KFGO) – A Minneapolis man is in jail after a domestic dispute and shooting in northern Minnesota on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
Cass County Sheriff Bryan Welk says 20-year-old Jose Pineda, Jr. was traveling with family from the Bemidji area to the Twin Cities when the dispute began.
The driver pulled into a parking lot at a gas station on Aspen Avenue NW in Cass Lake around 11:15 a.m. and the passengers got out. Welk says Pineda fired a gun at another man. The bullet hit a gas pump.
