FARGO (KFGO) – There was a large police presence south of the North Dakota State University campus near Dakota Drive and 16th Street N. in Fargo.
KFGO News reporter Gretchen Hjelmstad says around a dozen Fargo Police officers and Red River Valley SWAT members were at the scene. Officers used loud speakers to communicate with someone inside an apartment building and had guns drawn.
The SWAT team brought in a robot and a K-9 was also present.
The initial response was for a medical emergency around 6:15 a.m. The SWAT team and most officers cleared the scene around 9 a.m.
Fargo Police have not said what led to the law enforcement response.
