(Reuters) -President Donald Trump said on Friday that he is withdrawing his support and endorsement of Republican lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene.
“I am withdrawing my support and endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the great state of Georgia,” Trump posted on Truth Social.
Greene, a member of the House of Representatives, has long been a reliable ally and fierce defender of Trump but in recent weeks she has taken positions at odds with the White House and some of her fellow Republicans.
