Ryan Wilson and Lisa Demuth, candidates for Lt. Gov. and Gov., make campaign stop in Moorhead
MOORHEAD (KFGO/KVRR) — Minnesota House Speaker Lisa Demuth made a campaign stop in Moorhead Tuesday.
The Republican candidate for governor appeared along with her running mate, Ryan Wilson, to talk with reporters and answer questions. Wilson talked about their goal for less regulation for businesses, while Demuth talked about the need to end the polarization of politics.
Demuth also spoke on fighting fraud and the need for improving education in the state.
“As far as specific policies, we will continue to start laying out those plans, so I don’t have actual policies,” Demuth said. “But when our test scores are down in reading and our test scores are down in math, it means those businesses that are counting on an educated workforce are going to be struggling too.”
Demuth and Wilson also made stops in Duluth, Mankato and Paynesville.
