BISMARCK, N.D. (North Dakota Monitor) – The North Dakota University System will gather input this week as part of the search for the next president of Bismarck State College.
A community input session is set for 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Basin Electric Auditorium at the National Energy Center of Excellence on the BSC campus. A virtual option will be available with a chat function to ask questions.
There also are sessions for students, faculty and staff during the week.
The BSC Presidential Search Committee is chaired by State Board of Higher Education member Tim Mihalick and Karen Erickson, Bismarck State’s dean of enrollment management.
A full search committee is to be announced later this month. The committee is expected to meet in the first week of December.
The committee is looking for a replacement for Doug Jensen, whose tenure ended Jan. 2.
Dan Leingang, Bismarck State’s vice president of academic affairs, is serving as interim president.
