ST. PAUL PARK, Minn. (WCCO/KFGO) The Minnesota State Patrol says a Twin Cities motorcyclist is in custody after he allegedly drove drunk and fled the scene of a crash that left his passenger with life-threatening injuries Sunday.
Police say he collided with an SUV, and then left his injured sister behind at the scene.
It happened just before 7:00 p.m. Sunday on Highway 61 in St. Paul Park.
The 60-year old female passenger, Kimberly Ann Robinson of Newport, is in critical condition at Regions Hospital. The State Patrol says she was not wearing a helmet.
The 70-year old driver was arrested at his home about seven miles away in Inver Grove Heights.
The couple in the SUV were not injured.
