GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO/KVRR) — Alerus Center is going cashless beginning this fall.
Starting with UND’s football home opener on Saturday, Sept. 6, most purchases inside Alerus Center will only be able to be made using a card. Parking and a majority of concession stands will only accept debit, credit, or pre-paid cards, and gift cards.
Cash will still be accepted when buying tickets at the Transystems Box Office.
Oak View Group, which manages the center, says going cashless will improve the speed of service and elevate the overall guest experience.
Limited cash options will still be available for private events such as weddings, banquets, and trade shows.
