CROSS RANCH PARK, N.D. (KFGO) — A Minot man was arrested for DUI after a crash in a North Dakota state park.
It happened around 2:45 p.m. Sunday. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the 47-year-old man was driving in Cross Ranch State Park when he suddenly accelerated and ran into a tree.
A juvenile passenger was seriously injured, and the driver had minor injuries. Neither were wearing a seatbelt. Both were taken to Sanford hospital in Bismarck.
The driver was arrested for DUI, reckless endangerment, and felony child neglect. He was also cited for driving without insurance.
