FARGO (KFGO) – A Moorhead man has been charged with terrorizing and making threats in connection with a lockdown at the Essentia Health Hospital on 32nd Avenue South in Fargo last week. 57-year-old Jerome Lampley is accused of threatening a mass shooting in a call to the hospital.
Lampley’s phone number was linked to a patient file, along with a Moorhead address where Lampley was located and later arrested.
While he was speaking with Moorhead police, officers located two phones with Lampley. When officers placed a call to the phone number used to make the threat, one of the two phones began to ring. Lampley was arrested and initially taken to the Clay County Jail before he was transferred to the Cass County Jail.
