ROCKWOOD TWP, Minn. (KFGO) — The Minnesota BCA has canceled the missing person’s alert for 30-year-old Samuel Waln after his body was positively identified.
Waln’s vehicle was found early Thursday, and Wadena County Deputies found Waln’s body 240 above the ground on a cell tower. Due to the height of the tower, Minnesota Task Force One was called, and recovered Waln.
Waln was brought to the Midwest Medical Examiners Office for a positive identification. He had been missing since July 12.
No foul play is suspected.
