BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO/Prairie Public) – Two finalists have been chosen to interview for police chief in Bismarck.
Current Chief Dave Draovich is retiring at the end of the month.
The two finalists are Daniel Weigel, currently a patrol commander with the University of North Dakota police department in Grand Forks, and Bismarck Deputy Chief Jason Stugelmeyer.
They will be interviewed by a five member panel, and that panel will make a recommendation to the city commission at its July 22 meeting.
