MINNEAPOLIS (KFGO) – A seizure of nearly 1,000 pounds of methamphetamine in Minneapolis is being heralded as one of the state’s largest drug busts.
The Ramsey County Violent Crime Enforcement Team, federal partners, and St. Paul police say they were investigating a drug trafficking ring when the seizure came about. It followed a a seizure of more than 900 pounds of meth in Burnsville in June.
Two men are in custody and face charges. The meth was found in two vehicles.
