ALEXANDRIA, Minn. (KFGO) — A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured in a UTV crash near Alexandria.
Douglas County Deputies and Alexandria Police responded just after 12:30 a.m. Friday. The teen was unconscious inside the UTV. Life-saving measures were performed, and he was brought to Alomere Hospital in Alexandra. He was then flown to a trauma center.
Deputies say the teen was driving at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the UTV and rolled several times. He was not wearing a helmet but was wearing a seatbelt.
