MOORHEAD (KFGO) – The Moorhead Fire Department responded to a report of a dryer fire at 538 Maple Lane around 5:30 Sunday afternoon.
When crews arrived on the scene, there was no smoke or fire visible from inside. They did find a small dryer fire in the basement and were able to get the fire out and remove the dryer from the house quickly.
No one was hurt, and the family cat was safe.
A damage estimate was not available.
