RED LAKE, Minn. (KFGO) – One man was killed in a shooting on the Red Lake Reservation.
Red Lake authorities responded to a home east of the town of Red Lake around 7:15 p.m. Friday. The suspect fled before police arrived, and a shelter-in-place was issued for the area. Officers, citizens, and a drone searched the area, and found the suspect hiding in a heavily wooded area.
The suspect was arrested and brought to the Red Lake Detention Center.
The FBI, Minnesota BCA, and Red Lake Department of Public Safety are investigating.
