BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (KFGO) – Nearly a week after the killings of Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband at their home in Brooklyn Park, police were back at the scene Friday to search Edinburgh Golf Course.
Police detectives were conducting a secondary canvass of the golf course for any additional evidence related to the homicides early last Saturday morning, as well as the break-in at Hortman’s home earlier this week, according to a police statement Friday morning.
The notice was sent to alert residents that there was no danger to the public despite the police presence.
