Nicholas Narveson (Grand Forks County Correctional Center)
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A State District Court jury in Grand Forks on Friday found a Grand Forks man guilty of murder for shooting a man to death at a bar last July 4.
It took the jury about four hours to convict Nicholas Narveson, 27.
53-year-old James Jorgenson was shot inside Sledsters, a downtown Grand Forks bar. Narveson claimed self-defense.
Narveson faces a potential life prison sentence. Sentencing has been set for August 1.
