Diversion work on I-29 north of Fargo to impact northbound traffic

HARWOOD, N.D. (KFGO/KVRR) — Continued construction on the F-M diversion will impact travel and cause some congestion on I-29 north of Fargo.

The northbound driving lane of the interstate at mile marker 75 near Harwood is closed until the northbound bridge opens to traffic in July. That date depends on the weather.

Traffic will be moved from the bypass lanes to the primary interstate lanes once the bridge is complete.

Drivers are asked to remain alert to changing traffic patterns and the speed will be reduced to 55 miles per hour through the construction zone.
