
CASS COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO)—Three people were injured, two seriously, in a head-on crash on Cass County Road 26 a half-mile west of Northern Cass School on Friday around 8 a.m.
Highway Patrol Captain Bryan Niewind says a Hyundai SUV was traveling west and a Toyota SUV was traveling east when the Hyundai crossed over the center line and struck the other vehicle head-on.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 41-year-old Fargo woman, was seriously injured. The highway patrol will recommend charges of criminal vehicular injury, meth possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Two people were in the Toyota. The driver, a 54-year-old woman from Galesburg, was not seriously injured. A juvenile passenger was seriously injured.
All three people were all transported to Sanford Health in Fargo.
County Road 26 was closed for about four hours because of the crash.
