Grand Forks County Commission approves tax exemption for plane manufacturer

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO KNOX) -The Grand Forks County Commission approved a tax exemption for Cirrus Aircraft expansion on a 4-1 vote.

The property tax exemption will be a 10-year, 100% payment instead of taxes, and a pilot, that the City of Grand Forks is spearheading.

Cirrus will pay $213,000 to $214,000 in the pilot for those 10 years.
